On October 14, 2026, the first degree sessions of the new cohort of the LM-80R Master's Degree in Valorization of Territories and Sustainable Tourism (ValTeTuS), in its new version, were held at the Department of Educational Sciences (DISFOR) of the University of Genoa.

The event represented a particularly significant moment for the Course of Studies, also marking the achievement of the first degree as part of the Double Degree (double degree) program with the University of Clermont Auvergne, France.

This important milestone enhances the international dimension of university education and offers students the opportunity to achieve dual academic recognition, strengthening their skills and professional prospects in a strategic sector such as sustainable tourism.

In a region like Liguria, characterized by an extraordinarily valuable landscape, cultural, and environmental heritage and a strong tourism vocation, a master's degree of this kind is crucial.

The ValTeTuS course trains professionals capable of promoting the valorization of territories, promoting sustainable and innovative tourism models, and contributing to local development. The dual international qualification represents, therefore, significant added value, encouraging the comparison of experiences and skills from different European contexts and expanding graduates' opportunities for academic and professional growth.
